at this stage, the mosaic has been exectued directly on paper using flour and water glue. now, i am ready to apply the paper to the front of the mosaic, flip the mosaic, do the push, remove the paper from the back, install the mosaic in the base, remove the paper from the front... and clean it up.

seems like it should be finished, doesn't it? still several steps to go!
