last november, i took a portraiture workshop with shug jones. boy was i in way over my head! i worked on my daughter's portrait for 3 long weeks after returning home from the class, and then realized that i was going to have to start over.

so, the first of the year i completely started over. now, 8+ weeks later, here i am. i could keep tweaking this for the rest of my mosaic career and probably still not be satisfied... so i have decided to just stop now and accept that this is the best that i can do at this point.
