narrative

i was really in a funk after returning from the SAMA conference... adjusting back into my small world here at home. not complaining... i love my small world... but its just that squeezing back into my space seems to get me out of whack... and who knows what other issues had snuck into the recesses of my mind while I was away having so much fun.

so, normally I would be freaking out about all these different shades of green... so many different green ideas... and about how that green smalti... though what I thought to be the best ... was just kind of standing out... but because I was so out of sorts, I had to just let go of any expectation for a good outcome.

ah! what freedom! and oh! how i loved those greens... GREEN ROCKS! can you believe it? spring green, and gray green, and green green... ROCKS! and what a bonus... i liked it when it was finished!

the pink rhodonite is for the redbud trees. of course, all the different greens are for ... all the different greens... being birthed in april. the slanted blue porcelain is for the sky that seems to be blowing by... made up its mind since march and seems so much more determined. the abalone is for... hmm... the promise of may...
